Our outdoor facilities include picnic
tables, benches, a campfire area and an outdoor worship area. We
have 275 feet of waterfront on Perdido Bay and 8 acres of wooded
area.
For recreation, we have swimming, a game area and equipment for
basketball, volleyball, softball, horseshoes and street hockey.
All swimming activities must be supervised by a certified
lifeguard, check with camp for more details.
Resource leaders are available for bible study, devotion, and
singing. We can provide "teamwork" building activities on our team
challenge course. We maintain first aid supplies for minor
injuries while more serious injuries are treated at the local
hospital in Foley, Alabama. Parental consent forms are required.
Minimum suggested items for campers to
bring with them are:
* Bedding - pillows, sheets, light blanket or sleeping bag,
flashlight.
* Clothes - appropriate for the weather conditions and outdoor
activities, personal toiletries, swimsuit and an extra towel.
Camp Dixie is located 10 miles from Elberta, Alabama, 15 miles
from Foley, Alabama, 35 miles from Pensacola, Florida and 55 miles
from Mobile, Alabama.
2013-2014 Rental Rates
Day Rental (If you not staying
overnight): $150.00
Kitchen Rental: $50.00 (Additional to
any other cost)
Overnight Cost: $15.50 per person per
night, $200 minimum per night
Meal Cost: $6.00 per-person per-meal, 20 person minimum
Wedding Cost: $450.00 (Rehearsal day, event day,
and clean-up day)
Lifeguard is your responsibility: (you must
have a lifeguard if you enter the Perdido Bay water or float on top
of it.)
Initiative/Challenge Course $50.00 per day
Arrangements for use of specific
facilities/equipment as well as special leadership should be made
with the camp Director prior to arrival on site.
